February 2023. "WEB AND MOBILE-BASED PREGNANCY FITNESS GUIDE USING ANIMATION FOR FUERTES-LAXAMANA CLINIC" Adviser: Prof. Aloysius S. Valerio The locale wants to learn and improve their physical activity, but they are not usually aware what are the safe pregnancy exercises are, the researchers developed a "Web and Mobile-based Pregnancy Fitness guide using Animation. The objectives of the project are; 1) to develop an application that will provide online and offline exercises for pregnant women; 2) to design and develop a mobile-based application that is embedded with audio and animation instructions for the users to easily follow the exercise; 3) to provide a simple interface for every pregnant women to use it, 4) To develop a web-based system that the doctor can see the information of the pregnant woman, status and progress report; 5) To create a system that has these features: Progress report, pregnancy calculator, calendar information, exercises categories, time bound, notifications and reminders and settings; lastly, can be validated by Ob-gyn doctor and IT experts. The researchers conducted the study for the Fuertes-Laxamana Ob-gyn Clinic. Research instruments used were the following: questionnaire, interview and internet research to gather information. The researchers also used statistical procedure after the questionnaires were distributed to the respondents. The researchers used diagrams to show the flow of data of the system like Context Diagram, Used Case Diagram, Data Flow Diagram and System Flowchat. The researchers developed the system by using the following technologies: Android Studio, Adobe Photoshop CS6, Power point, Adobe llustrator, Java Development Kit, Software Development Kit, Firebase, DB Browser for SQLite and Visual Studio. Based on the perception of the respondents of the newly developed system, the results showed that the system accumulated a grand mean 3.70 with a description interpretation of "Strongly-Agree". The results proved the efficiency and acceptability of the system. From the evaluation results, the researchers came up with a conclusion that the newly developed system met the objectives of the study and beneficial to the Pregnant women in Magalang, especially for Fuertes-Laxamana Clinic. To know and learn more about the pregnancy exercise during pregnant that are already in the newly-developed android application.
