ABSTRACT :MANAGEMENT PRACTICES OF REYVES BALUT TITLE AUTHOR ADVISER SCHOOL TRADING : MARJORIE SARCILLA TIAMZON : LEONARD M. DE LEON, M.B.M. : PAMPANGA STATE AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY DEGREE : BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS YEAR COMPLETED :JUNE 2023 The study was conducted to evaluate the management practices of Reyves Balut Trading. Specifically, the study aimed to present the historical background of the firm, describe the various aspects of its operations (organization, production, marketing and finance), identify and analyze the problems affecting the operations of the firm and recommend viable solutions and alternative courses of action to the problems identified. Information about the industry was taken from books, magazines and other reading materials from the PSAU library and from the internet. The data gathered from the firm was used as main basis for meeting the objectives of the study. Finances were analyzed using financial ratios such as profitability and turnover ratio to measure the efficiency and profitability of processed duck eggs and duck raising. Facts about the firm were gathered through personal interviews and observations with the owner of the firm. Problems identified and analyzed by the author are organization, marketing and financial management. The firm does not have a hiring process for their workers and does not practice their workers to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). With regards to marketing, they have only used word of mouth in promoting their business or products. Specifically in financial management, they do not keep permanent records on the cash inflows and inflows of the firm. The author provides some alternative solutions to address the problems identified. The solutions in the organization are as follows: (1) the owner should have a hiring process for the workers especially giving them training; (2) the owner should provide uniform and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to the workers. For marketing; (1) the owner must advertise their product using tarpaulin, flyers, and posters and make a page on social media. And for financial management; (1) The owner should keep financial records of the firm; (2) and the owner can hire an accountant to do the record keeping.
