ABSTRACT MANAGEMENT PRACTICES OF RDF FEED, LIVESTOCK & FOODS INC. (SAN ILDEFONSO) TITLE ROSEMARIE BANTOY PANGILINAN AUTHOR ADVISER SCHOOL FERNANDO C, PANGILINAN, M.B.M. PAMPANGA STATE AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS DEGREE YEAR COMPLETED JUNE 2023 The study was conducted at RDF Feed, Livestock & Foods Inc. located in Barangay San lldefonso, Magalang, Pampanga. It provides information concerning the management practices of the farm, in terms of investments, organization, production, marketing, and finance. This study offers information that might be nceded in putting up a business for aspiring entrepreneurs, especially in the aspect of broiler farming. For researchers, this will serve as reference material for those who want to undertake similar studies on this topic. Primary data were gathered through a series of personal interviews with the farm manager and the leadman of RDF Feed, Livestock & Foods Inc. (San Ildefonso). The needed data were on the areas of organization, composed of the organizational chart, duties and responsibilities as well as human resource management; (2) investment, which consisted of investment activities; (3) operation, which consisted of the fim area, location and production process or the operation flow chart; (4) marketing, which composed of 7 C's of marketing; and (5) finance, consisted income statement and balance sheet. Secondary data were gathered from available literature and other reading materials, such as from the Internet and libraries. The farm is a corporation type of business registered under the name RDF Feed, Livestock & Foods Inc. (San Ildefonso) where Mr. Robert H. Lo is the owner. Problem identification and analysis were done regarding the production of the firm. The following are the problems encountered by the fim: (1) mycotoxicosis disease and respiratory diseases such as Infectious Bronchitis and Chronic respiratory disease; (2) higher production costs. Alternative courses of action were formulated for the existing problems of the firm. Based on the evaluation, the following are recommended to improve the business operation of RDF Feed, Livestock & Foods Inc. (San Ildefonso): for production, the veterinarian should visit the farm more often to maintain the chickens' good health or immediately cure any symptoms that may result in disease ; for the higher production costs, apply the theory of economies of scale that is to increase production, this results in lower production costs as production increases, which means that as the farm grows and production units increase, the farm will have a chance to increase its net profit.
