Macaspac This descriptive-qualitative study was conducted to look into and analyze the non-verbal actions of the optimists and pessimists that manifest in impromptu speaking. Results showed that there were two similarities and two differences in the participants' non-verbal actions. The two similarities were their hand gestures and posture. While the two differences were their eye contact and body movements. However, the non-verbal actions that manifested on the pessimist participants were more effective than the optimist participants.
