The study was conducted on June 2022 in the Home of Peacekeepers in Camp O'Donnell Military Base located in Capas, Tarlac to identify, assess, select, and locate good mother trees from the two (15) hectares. All forest trees from pole and veteran within the two (15) hectares were evaluated. Forest trees with a standard diameter at breast height (30cm to 76cm) and a total height of 15 meters above were considered potential good mother trees. Each tree then was assessed by their phenotypic characteristics including Stem straightness, stem forking, stem circularity, and tree health and graded following using the DAO 2010-11 criteria for selecting mother trees. The study identified and assessed a total of 304 forest trees. The 304 forest trees were composed of 140 Mahogany trees, 53 Indian trees, 50 Raintrees, 36 Talisay trees, 13 Yemane trees, 10 Narra trees, and 2 Molave trees. The study revealed that there were three Mahoganies trees (Swietenia macrophylla) that were shown to be good mother trees. The tallest tree measured was 25 meters, and it also had the biggest diameter, measuring 109 cm at breast height. The majority of the forest trees in the Home of Peacekeepers at the Camp O'Donnell Military Base in Capas, Tarlac was in fair phenotypic characteristics with one accorded bend stem, forking within the 6m length, with oblong shape stem, and medium damaged trees. The overall rating of the 304 forest trees fell into the category of "fair" with a computed mean of 4.0.
