This project was designed with the primary objective of developing a user-friendly system which allows individuals to virtually explore the historical places in the region through Augmented Reality which makes it possible for people to explore the history behind every heritage without leaving the comfort of their homes. The research methodology used in this study is the Rapid Application Development (RAD) RAD is an agile software development approach that focuses more on ongoing software projects and user feedback and less on following a strict plan. As such, it emphasizes rapid prototyping over costly planning Boehm el. In developing the application, the system used Unity and C# @8 programming language. A questionnaire has been distributed online to thirty (30) respondents (combined students and teachers) to evaluate the application software performance. A cumulative score of the respondents and descriptive writing was used to interpret the data. Based on the results, most of the respondents evaluated the system and mobile application performance as "Strongly Agree," garnenng a score of 3.61, indicating that the system meets its required functionality and supports respondents' needs. Therefore, the developed system was found to be beneficial for students, teachers, and tourists in terms of exploring heritage places virtually.
