GATUS, D.B.A. SCHOOL : PAMPANGA STATE AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY DEGREE : BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS YEAR COMPLETED : APRIL 2019 The study was conducted to evaluate the management practices of Guran Sapa Multi-purpose Cooperative located at Sitio Mauli San Pablo, Sta. Ana, Pampanga. Specifically, it sought to trace the historical background of the firm and management activities in terms of organization, investment, production and operation, marketing and financial aspects; to identify and analyze the problems encountered; to give possible solutions and to offer recommendations to the existing problems. Primary data were gathered through a series of personal interviews with the secretary and other members of the cooperative who also helped in compiling the files and in gathering the information needed. Secondary data were gathered from the current data available on the internet and libraries. The cooperative is headed by Atty. Mamerto Villanueva. Financial statement and ratio were done to determine the financial standing of the firm. Identification and problem analysis were done regarding the organization, production and marketing operations of the firm. The following are the problems encountered by the firm: in the organization: (1) lack of members; (2) Not Visiting of the Chairman in Cooperative. Alternative courses of action were formulated for the existing problems and the recommendation was conducted. Based on the evaluation, the following are recommended to improve the business operation of Guran Sapa Multi-purpose Cooperative: (1) the researcher recommends alternative A wherein the cooperative should accept a member in another barangay; (2) the researcher recommends the alternative A wherein the chairman should visit the cooperative every day.
