The farm practice was done by the trainee to experience the different management practices in a swine farm and to apply all the learning which were taught during class period to actual farm operation. - Farm practice conducted actual activities in terms of proper management of a swine farm such as breeding, pre-farrowing operation, assisting sow in farrowing, care and management of newly born piglets, feeds and feeding, cutting the needle teeth and tail docking in piglets, ear notching, castration, weaning, proper vaccination and administration of medicine, proper manure disposal, applying biosecurity, record keeping, cleaning the pens in different unit such as in farrowing, collecting of semen boar, processing the semen, heat detection, performing artificial insemination, and , marketing of hogs,
