This study aimed to profile the cattle farmers from the first Philippine Smallhold Cattle Raisers Congress held on June 19-20, 2019 at the Pampanga State Agricultural University. A total of 107 respondents participated in the survey. Questionnaires were distributed to cattle raisers and data from these were collected, profiled and subjected to descriptive analysis. Data gathered were profiles of the respondents in terms of socioeconomic, husbandry, breeds and breeding practices, feeding and nutrition and health and veterinary care profiles. Based on the results of the study, majority of the cattle farmers belong to backyard raising and have been practicing farming technologies that are considered very basic. Their access to recent technologies and government support appeared to be lacking and heavily reliant on marketing system involving middlemen.
