The student trainee was able to experience hands-on practices in the said poultry layer farm. With the help and assistance of the farm laborers, the student trainee was able to learn how to handle inside the layer chicken house, the laborers also trained him how to properly feeding, collecting and proper handling of the eggs until grading and marketing the eggs. The main objective of the farm practice was to expose the student on the actual operation of the farm. The student trainee learned the different management practices from preparation up to marketing. The actual activities of a farm were proper handling of animals, care and management, feeding and proper medication of the animals. These management practices are the main target for the farm practitioner. Field practice did not only help the student trainee apply the acquired knowledge from the classroom but also enhanced the skills, especially in swine raising production. It indeed equipped the student trainee with the knowledge, practices, and skills he needs in his chosen field.
