Thje farm practice was conducted at Boston Ridge Farm located at Sitio Dalupon, Barangay Anupul, Bamban, Tarlac. Boston Ridge Farm used monitor type housing for its buildings. Each department has complete facilities. The farm consists of 2000 sow level at present. During the farm practice the student trainee experienced different management practices like care of the navel cord, needle teeth cutting, castration, tail docking, administration of medicines, vitamins and vaccines, artificial insemination, feeding of animals, semen collection and semen processing, and assisting of farrowing sows. The comparison between the farm and standard data revealed that the farrowing index, average litter size and average stillbirth are good while the mortality is poor.
