ABSTRACT TITLE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES OF LIVE AUTHOR ADVISER SCHOOL SPRING FISHPOND ANALYN ROTANTE ROVILLOS JANSEN JOSHUA L. CANLAS PAMPANGA STATE AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY DEGREE : BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS YEAR COMPLETED : JUNE 2023 The study was conducted at Live Spring Fishpond located at Sitio Balibago, San lldefonso, Magalang, Panmpanga. The study was conducted and analyze and determine the profitability of Tilapia Production. For future researchers, this will be serve as a reference material to those who want to undertake similar studies in this line. Primary data were gathered through series of personal interviews with the production supervisor of Live Spring Fishpond. Specifically the data that will be gathered were in the areas (1) organization, which consists of organizational chart, duties and responsibilities of human resource management; (2) investment, which consists of initial capital and its utilization:; (3) production, which consists of area and location, input used in production technology, process and schedule of production; (4) marketing, which consists of 7 C's of marketing; and (5) finance, which consists of income statement and balance sheet and finance of ratios. Secondary data relative to the industry were gathered from the current data available in the internet and from other reading materials such as books, magazines and Pampanga State Agricultural University Library. The firm is a sole proprietorship type of business, Mr. Edwardo Gamboa is the owner of the Live Spring fishpond. Identification and Problem analysis was done regarding the organization, production, marketing and financial aspect of the firm. The following are the problems encountered by the firm: (1) in the organization, the firm lack of employee (2) in salary, lack of mandatory benefits; (3) in production, the firm was poor quality of Fingerlings. Alternative courses of action were formulated for existing problems of the firm. Based on evaluation, the following are recommend to improve the business production of Live Spring Fishpond: for the organization, the firm should to appoint a bookkeeper who will be in charge of maintaining records and overseeing the business's finances; owner must provide benefits includel3th month pay, SSS, PhilHealth, Paglbig,; and for production, the firm should look for alternative and better supplier of fingerlings to avoid increase mortality.
