ABSTRACT Bacani, Mavric John D. July 2022. Profitability of Bitter Gourd Applied with Different Fermented Fruit Juices (FFJ). Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. Major in Crop Science. Pampanga State Agricultural University, Magalang, Pampanga. Adviser: NORMAN DE G. JESUS Ph.D. The study was conducted from March to July 2022 at Pabanlag, Floridablanca, Pampanga entitled Profitability of Bitter gourd applied with different Fermented Fruit Juices (FFJ)," Randomized Complete Blocked Design (RCBD) was used with three replications. The treatments are as follows T1 - Control, T2 - Fermented Squash, T3 - Fermented Banana, and T4 -Fermented Papaya. Based on the results of the study, applying different sources of Fermented Fruit Juices (FFJ) have significantly affected the days to flower, number of marketable and non- marketable fruits, and fruit weight. However, no significant effect was shown in number of non-marketable fruits. n cost and return analysis, T3 (Fermented Banana) has the highest income of Php 576,700 and ROI of 412% among the treatments. For recommendation, applying different Fermented Fruit Juice (FFJ) especially Fermented Banana (T3) on bitter gourd is highly suggested in organic farming and has the potential to lessen the inorganic inputs. Furthermore, similar studies on different varieties of bitter gourd are recommended to obtain more definite results. Lastly, analysis of the nutrient content and chemical make-up of the used concoctions is also advised.
