Solis This study focused on producing a 2" x 2" x 1.5" (5.08 cm x 5.08 cm x 45.72 cm) composite using bamboo fiber waste and determined its potential as a wall accent in terms of different proportions of animal glue in producing bamboo waste composite. The physical properties, 1.e., density, water absorption, fire resistance, and thickness swelling, and mechanical properties, i.e., compressive strength and flexural strength, were determined. Furthermore, the cost analysis of producing a 2" x 2" x 1.5" bamboo waste composite was also computed in different percentages of the binder. 9% which is the costliest among the 3 binders. The researcher used a 2" x 2" x 1.5' molder in doing the bamboo waste composite and each treatment was created by combining the various ratios of binders for the bamboo shavings, which are 5%, 7%, and 9% binder ratios. Animal glue, which is the binder, was soaked in water for an hour to dissolve before boiling. Then, it was mixed with the bamboo fiber waste molded in the fabricated 1" x 1" molder and compressed until all waste materials were contained in the molder. Then it was put in the oven at a set temperature of 210 °C for one (1) hour and 190 °C for the following two (2) hours. The study found that Treatment 3 (9%) binder was the best binder mixture. Based on the results, the higher the binder, the better the bamboo waste composite, but it is more costly. The 9% binder ratio is low in water absorption and thickness swelling. However, and in terms of fire resistance, it was noticed that the first minute of exposure to fire, the 9% binder burned faster, but as burning continued, it slowed down. Hence, the thickness burned after a few minutes were recorded as the lowest in the 9% binder. In terms 0! mechanical properties, both the compressive strength and flexural strength recorded th highest at 9% binder.
