The study was conducted to provide an economic analysis of lettuce production using hydroponics in Pampanga and to determine production practices of the hydroponic farmers. A total of 15 respondents were included, majority of them were male with their age group of 20 to 30, and most of them are college graduate. The harvested lettuce was sold in supermarkets, Korean marts and malls. When it comes to the kind of lettuce, Lollo Bionda is the most used variety with a corresponding 60%. Moreover, the method for transferring lettuce shows that both pick-up and delivery is the most commonly used method with 80% of the total gathered survey. Majority of respondents used tricycle as their method of transportation with 53.33%. Majority of the respondents used per cups with 2 corresponding 100% from the total respondent survey. Meanwhile, the mode of payment used was cash on delivery and for the buying method majority of the respondents used both pick-up and delivery. On the other hand, the respondents can earn 10,000 to 20,000 pesos every month for every harvest of hydroponic lettuce. The problems encountered by the hydroponic growers were competition and weather condition. The total cost and return shows that the average net profit of hydroponics farmers were Php24,319.93 excluding the total cost production of Php4, 360.07 and Majority of the respondents have an earnings of Php10,001 to Php20,000 every harvest of hydroponic lettuce and indoor system is the most expensive hydroponic farming technique that is why Kratky and NFT is the most commonly used system of hydroponics as it is less expensive compare to other system of hydroponics. For the recommendations and policy implications are the promotion of new method of planting which is hydroponics, and the support to local growers to equip them with further knowledge about hydroponics.
