SUYU, GE, MSME One of the most basic necessities of humans is shelter. It safeguards humans from the whims of nature as well as natural and man-made perils. This study was designed to explore and assess the status of the housing units in Northville (V Lambakin, Marilao, Bulacan, and the reasons of the beneficiaries for still occupying, selling, renting, and abandoning their housing units. The data used to map the housing units' status were gathered from the Barangay Lambakin Office of Nutrition and Population. A total of 331 NHA housing project beneficiaries in Northville IV were asked to answer a questionnaire for the study. The questionnaire is composed of 4 categories with seven questions each. The beneficiaries still reside in 1,399 housing units, have abandoned 72, fented or leased 356, and sold 85, according to the summary of findings. The recipients of the occupied group all agreed that their favorable location was the main factor. According to 83.33 percent of respondents, flooding is one of the main reasons people abandon their homes in Northvilte IV lambakin Marilao, Bulacan. All of the beneficiaries claimed that they needed money for something and selling their housing unit will solve the problem. The proximity of the factories and warehouses draws potential tenants, resulting in more rented housing units in Northville IV. Based on the findings, the study recommends addressing the current issues tegarding the status of the housing units in Northville IV Lambakin Marilao Bulacan. Also, the study recommends an additional subsidy for the beneficiaries to avoid the cases of selling and renting of the housing units in Northville IV Lambakin Marilao, Bulacan.
