A farm practice on swine farm was conducted at Golden Hog Farm located at Duquit, Mabalacat, Pampanga from April 14 to May 27, 2018. During the farm practice in Golden Hog Farm, the trainee was assigned to perform different tasks in the farm. In the farrowing unit, the trainee performed the following practices: assist a farrowing sow, teeth clipping, tail docking, ear notching, and castration. In the fattener unit, the trainee was assigned to feed and bathe the pigs. In the area of starter unit, the trainee was assigned to feed, clean and vaccinate the weanlings. In the breeding unit, his duty was to feed and bathe the sow and also assist in performing natural breeding. The comparison between the farm performance and production standard was revealed as the litter index, average stillbirth, and mortality were rated good. Average litter size was also rated good.
